Membership Categories
Senior/Full member: Minimum of intermediate standard. Can play at any time of day, eligible for teams and the Wimbledon draw..
Associate/Off-peak: Any standard acceptable (beginners very welcome). They can play Monday to Friday, 9 to 5. Between these hours if Full Members are also waiting to play, all players must come off court at the end of a set to allow others to play. At other times they can use the courts when not required by Full members. However Associate members are not eligible to play in teams.
Family: a couple and their children, up to 18 years of age: rates also available for single parent families upon application to the Hon Treasurer.
Parent Practice: allows parents who do not wish to commit themselves to more formal play as a Senior member to hit solely with their children, who should themselves be junior members.
Country membership: available to those living more than 20 miles from the club.
Student: apply to those born between 1983 and 1988; they are welcome to join in Club sessions and may also play in teams, providing they fit the appropriate standard.
Juniors (18 & under): the age criteria is anyone born 1989 or later; they are also welcome to join in Club sessions by invitation and actively encouraged to participate in both junior and senior teams. Mini Juniors: those born 2000 or later
The membership form is can be found at the club house. Rates are inclusive of the LTA levy, which is a requirement of all affiliated Clubs. There is a £10 discount for both Senior and Associate members, but to qualify the payment must be in the Treasurer’s hands by 31 March. Unpaid Visitor’s fees due from the previous year will also be collected at this time.
Once your form has been received you will receive your membership tag which should be worn where it can easily be seen. It is up to ALL members to ensure only paid-up members use the courts. If no subscription is received by 28 April then membership will be deemed to have lapsed. For any query please contact Patrick Hall (01223 479105).
